Jorey Hurley is an author, illustrator, and artist. Her critically-acclaimed picture books for kids, RIBBIT, NEST, FETCH, and HOP, are published by Simon and Schuster and are available everywhere picture books are sold. They have been described as “certain to please aesthetically-minded children and adults” by The New York Times, “beautiful” by The Wall Street Journal, and “a delight” by Publishers Weekly.
In addition to her books, Jorey has worked with brands such as The Land of Nod, One Kings Lane, Minted, Papyrus, and Artfully Walls, and her prints have decorated the sets of The Mindy Project. Jorey graduated from Princeton in Art History, earned
a law degree from Stanford, and went on to study design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
She has worked as a textile designer at Hable Construction in New York City for five years, and now lives in San Francisco with her husband and two kids.
